Hi, Air travel is the fastest (45 min). Bangkok to Vientiane, Laos is about USD $ 190-220.Anreise by train is very cheap, but in hours. Bangkok to Nong Khai train (class sleeping bag) is about $ 20-30. There are 12 hours hiking. Nongkhai to Vientiane, Laos is about 45min by car Bus.Von Vientiane, I recommend you to visit Vientiane to Vietnam http://www.laos411.com/ fliegen.Wenn no information about Laos. Have a great trip.
