I’m not really sure that one of the most celebrated chefs in protest of the students were actually enrolled college students. Names such as Abby Hoffman, Tom Hayden, Stokley Carmichael and Angela Davis come to mind. If I remember correctly, a reformed criminal Carmichael and Davis had been a teacher, who later became a criminal.
